Woodhead nominated for four BCEM Awards!

Woodhead is celebrating after receiving four nominations at this year’s Building Communities in the East Midlands Awards.

The awards, now in their second year, will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre on Friday 12th February 2016. Nearly 400 people are expected to join organisers, EEM Ltd and Little Spark Event Management, to celebrate the work of the housing and construction industry across the East Midlands.

Woodhead, last year’s winner of the Collaborative Working award, will be battling it out for the top spot in the following four categories:

Collaborative working - Alongside clients, A1 Housing and Bassetlaw District Council, Woodhead Living is up for its work on Phase One of the Smith Square development in Harworth.

Corporate responsibility - For Woodhead Living’s work on the Denton Green housing project in Nottingham, working alongside Nottingham City Homes and social enterprise, Best Build.

Project of the Year - For its approach to ‘Rethinking Housing Delivery‘ in its Smith Square project in Harworth for clients, A1 Housing and Bassetlaw District Council,

Innovation - For its innovative Good to Gold programme, which has seen 476 training places offered to sub contractors and staff to receive a range of training to help them build their business, develop and grow with Woodhead.
