Woodhead Group is pleased to announce it has been appointed to the Westworks Procurement Development and Construction DPS framework.
This framework is available for use by all Westworks and Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) members as part of the collaboration arrangement between several like-minded procurement consortia.
The framework’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is aimed at making public sector construction procurement a more efficient process.
The collaboration allows all within the consortia to benefit from and make use of each other’s frameworks and DPS arrangements; each continuing to work together to align their processes and practices where they can to provide the best possible service to their combined membership.
Woodhead Group has been part of the EEM supply chain for seven years and has delivered, or is on site with, more than £50m of projects, and the 500th home secured through the framework is set to complete this year.
These projects have not only created 36 new jobs, but also engaged nearly 4,000 young people, leading to 181 work experience placements and 17 apprentices starting.
Tom Woodhead, director of the Woodhead Group said: “Our appointment to this new collaborative framework from Westworks and EEM shows that we continue to be a partner that can be trusted to deliver excellent social value. Having been part of EEM for several years, we are excited for the opportunities the Development and Construction DPS will bring.”
