Top notch’ standards of building work praised at awards ceremony

Outstanding building and construction work across West Lindsey was honored at a glittering awards ceremony.
The Quality in Construction Awards 2016 was organised by West Lindsey District Council’s Building Control team to celebrate the standards of local projects.More than 200 professionals in the building and construction industry attended the event, which was sponsored by Buildbase.

Chairman of the West Lindsey District Council, Cllr Angela Lawrence said: “I have been very impressed by the quality and standards of projects outlined, which must have made it difficult to judge. It’s really inspiring to see some of the work that has been carried around the district. I would like to congratulate all the finalists and the winners

Lincs FM radio presenter, John Marshall, hosted the event at The White Heather, Caenby Corner on Friday night.

Projects ranged from one off extensions, to large developments, education and commercial buildings and individuals within the industry.

Mick Mattison, regional manager Central Eastern at Jacksons Buildbase described the shortlisted projects as ‘top notch’.

He said: “The standards of building in the area is just fantastic. It has been a pleasure and an honor to be associated with such a prestigious awards ceremony. I would like to thank West Lindsey District Council as a key partner and all the local builders, architects and developers for their fantastic contributions.”

Manjeet Gill, Chief Executive of West Lindsey District Council explained, “I would like to thank all the judges and all the finalists as their achievements have really demonstrated real quality in construction.”
