Robert Woodhead creates 15 new jobs

Robert Woodhead Limited is expanding its workforce after winning several new contracts, including a framework agreement that could be worth upwards of £33,000,000 over the next four years. The company currently employs over 80 people of which 50 are based at their head office in Edwinstowe.

The recruitment drive will create 15 new jobs across the company including jobs in the specialist Heritage and Sustainability Teams. The new jobs include, Project Managers, Administrators, Quantity Surveyors and an Estimator.

Business Development Director, Glenn Slater said “We have a clear and ambitious strategic plan for growth. This latest investment in our workforce is part of our wider mission to make building a better experience for all. Our new serviced office in Edwinstowe which we moved into in November has given us the space to achieve this expansion.”

Robert Woodhead was founded in 1946 and remains family owned and managed. The construction company has seen significant sustained growth over recent years increasing the workforce from 51 members of staff in 2011 to over 80 in February 2014. The new recruitment drive will take the workforce to well over 90 employees.
