Framework’s Third Annual Golf Day took place on 18 June 2012 at Beeston Fields Golf Club. Continuing Robert Woodhead’s support of Framework, a Robert Woodhead golf team was entered and the company also sponsored a hole.
Glenn Slater, Business Development Director at Robert Woodhead commented, “The Golf Day is becoming an annual event to remember and we are pleased to continue supporting Framework’s fund raising efforts whenever we can. It was an excellent day and very well organised. We couldn’t have asked for better weather either and for me personally, getting a par on the hardest hole was a particular highlight.”
With 14 teams entered, the event which included a three course meal and charity auction was a great success.
Andrea Carver, Partnership Development Officer at Framework confirmed, “The primary objective of the Golf Day is to raise money for homeless and vulnerable people in Nottinghamshire and beyond. This year’s Golf Day has raised over £10,000 so far and we are still counting. No doubt we will be looking to other funding raising activities throughout the year, but the Golf Day is certainly one we will continue.”
